Kow Farmer,
I ran a 7000 planter for about 10 years, they are good planters. Way better than a 494. Why do you think Kinze copied them?
If it has sat outside, consider it the same as a combine that isn't shedded. It will need some work, and the shafts are more exposed than on a combine. |

| The planter has sat outside for years. I am afraid it will take a lot of work to make this planter functional the way it should. Kow Farmer (Kurt) |

| Kinze started off using JD row units on their custom frames. The JD unit is self standing where something like a cyclo was not. Eventually JD screwed over Kinze and cut off the supply. Big hoopola in court and Kinze was able to build their copy. Deere screwed themselves out of selling all those units and it's funny to see someone actually copy a deere since all deere does is copy everyone elses inventions. |
