Mark Poss 11-04-2012 04:20:39 173.25.60.148 Report to Moderator	Can someone tell me the correct way to set up the hitch on a little genius plow to pull behind a 37 John Deere A I have the plow manual but it only shows diagrams for older Farmalls. All it should be is distance from the inside of the tractor's right rear wheel to the drawbar, and distance from the inside of the plow furrow wheel to the center of the plow. Now set your tractor draw bar the same demention from the inside of your right rear tractor wheel, wheel will probably have to be moved in. When you make your first pass , check to see that your front coulter is cutting just 14",s from the furrow wall.You can change that by shorting or lengthening the plow hitch draw bar brace.From the back of the plow, your right hand lever sets your leveling and the other your depth ,if no hyd. cylinder is being used, meaning ground lift plow.Your coulters should be set 3/8s to 1/2" to the left of you points and coulter axel 2",s ahead of the points , if your bolt holes allow this to be done.
