Hi,
I am restoring a New Holland 56B hay rake. The B is for Bean rake, it has a third spot for teeth in each set on the bar. However, I have learned that putting a standard tine in that spot does not work because there is not enough clearance when the rake turns. Are there reversed tines for this? Any suggestions? I am trying to keep it period specific and not use rubber tines, although they would work.
Also, does anyone know of anyone still selling the old decals for this rake or one similar? New Holland discontinued them last year, and the stores around me do not have them anymore.
Thanks |

| | Don't those use the rubber shank teeth, instead of the round spring? --->Paul |

| I have a IH # 35 'bean basket' rake.It is tight with 3 teeth. If a stripper is bent, the tooth will hit.I also have a # 15 rake that was rubber from the start. It's about the same or a little older than yours. |
