Super Steve 10-25-2012 11:03:49 68.171.231.85 Report to Moderator	I'm plowing with a Ford 151 4x18 semi-mount plow and I can't seem to get it to leave the dead furrow clean. So on my next round its rough. It seems to be plowing decent to me except its not cleaning the last furrow. What am I doing wrong? [Reply]   [No Email]

Atleast it seems lighter than our 1855 did before we added the starter weight, 1 stack and 4 slabs to it. The only time it rears up is when I snag a tree root close to the fence row. They should be set so they slice one to two inches more than the plow bottom. My colters are also set about 3 to 4 inches deep. Then if that does it, move the other's over as well. In our plow manual for our 4 bottom IH it says to do that on the rear coulter and once set do it on the rest. And in sod that you might have to do this. Corn ground not as big of a deal. [Reply]  [No Email]
