How do I adjust the concaves on my combine. seems too close? Cracks too many beans.

Are you sure that your cylinder speed is not too fast?Beans crack easily,so lookat both speed and clearance.As was said, "buy a book".Your friendly neighborhood JD dealer can get you one.'Round here we grow pinto beans,not soys.We run our cylinder speed at around 190 rpm.
