Have been working on this for a few weeks now got the floor repaired. With a lot of help from here got the web set correctly. Now works like a champ. WHEN EMPTY :( have played with the ratchet and added springs taken springs off. Only thing I can see is there seems to be slop in the part that holds the dog to the ratchet. How do i get that off so I can shim up the back side. That gear wont come off! Do you remove it by pulling the entire shaft off? and if so how do you get the web gears to slide on a shaft that is 40 years old. What am I missing? Need You Guys help again ! Thanks Jim |

| Thanks but not I have a parts book and an owners manual I bought for this thing. The parts are all there. I don't like this thing kicking my butt! I think that the back piece is just worn so badly that it doesnt align to the dog. that is why i have added springs etc works great empty |
