Hold down clips on moco

What is the proper way to adjust the hold down clips on a set up that has the stubby guards and the two prong hold down clips? I have never done one of these before and this one is in real bad need of adjustment. Any and all replies will be very much appreciated.

I have a homemade press I straighten mine with. What I did was buy a new pair (upper and lower) and use them as a pattern. Mine moco is a Hesston 110.

What machine are they on? JD's are adjustable with a wrench.

Check an see if there are shims under the hold downs. On many of the stub nose top sections they use a shims to set the clearance. If it does not have them I have just taken them off and ground the mounting area down so that the front is closer to the knife/sections.
