scrapping 2 balers

NH S69 and NH S269, there are many useable parts, knotters, needles, gearboxes, feeder,trip clutch for knotters, plunger beams, heads. Need the money to buy a JD 336 baler. Bought these to rebuild, but parts are more exspensive than efforts worth. chute on S69 is nice no rot holes, and solid, s269 chute has issues, pickup guards, pichup reel parts etc. Let me know if anyone needs anything. Planning on going mid next week.

How different is that from a 268 baler?

Very similar. If you go to the Messick's parts site and compare the 268 & 269 there is a ton of overlap in parts. I also have a 268 and if this was closer I might try to buy the whole baler as a parts unit, but that is too far for me.

Basic difference between a 268 and 269 is the 269 has the 3 joint pto and longer hitch. I bought a 269 parts baler and switched them. NH two joint design was terrible. They must have thought tractors are only 40 inches wide.

no wants anything? sunday one in barn(S69) gets pulled out to get loaded on flat bed. Other(s269) ones here at house.
