MF 43 Grain Drill

Been looking for a grain drill for a while now and have a chance to buy what I have been told is a MF 43 w/grass seed attachment. Its missing one of the lids, anybody know where I may be able to track one down at? Also, anything specific to look for on this model of drill? Thanks!

can't help you with the lid, but if you can store it inside you won't really need it anyway.

If the seed rate adjustment still slides back and forth freely and everything else rotates as it should you should be in good shape.

I have a 33 that doesn't look nearly as nice and it still works great

Machine shop can fab a lid using the other for a pattern.

We have had one for years, always gets the job done. Have to keep close eye on the disc openers, they come loose and the scrapers are a joke. Make sure the feed rolls move freely, use a pipe wrench or something or else you will break the drive gears when you put it down.
