Originally horse drawn. At one time it probably had a board walkway across the back for the driver to stand on while he drove the horses.Dad had a McCormack drill that looked a lot like that one. I remember riding on the back walkway. He hitched up an outlaw horse with the regular team one day to break the outlaw to harness. Darn outlaw reared up and struck Dad in the face with his roof and broke his nose. Dad traded the outlaw to a dealer; the dealer put him in with a semi-load he was shipping to Chicago. By the time the driver got half away to Chicago, the outlaw had killed 2 other horses so they shot the outlaw and sold him to a fox farm for fox food. Dad bought a 10ft press drill and planted with a tractor after that. Can't remember what happened to the horse drill, but I think he sold it to somebody.
