John Deere 920 moco cutterbar drive universals

One of the universal joints that drives the cutterbar on my john deere 920 moco is bad. How do you get it apart to press the universal out? On the JD parts website it looks like the short shafts above and below it are splined, but do i have to remove the gearbox above, or the cutterbar below to get it apart? Thanks,
Josh

Take the gearbox loose. It is made to do it this way. You just loosen the drive belt and then take the gear box mounting bolts out. Then just change the ujoint like any other.

I'm not familiar with the 920... but older models you could unbolt the shaft hub from the cutterbar hub. Failing that you pull the gearbox upwards.
