need a little input on a 466 baler I just bought, PO had a issue that resulted in breaking one of the knotter frames, I have no problem with replacing the broken parts but was wondering if this model is as ood as the 327/336 I have been around? this unit looks like them just bigger capacity? this one also has hyd tension (maybe this is equipped std with this) any way I got the baler for a very reasonable price as it was broken and wanted some thoughts before repairing to confirm my thought as it being well worth fixing, based on NH parts which I am familer with I would guess 300-400 should buy me what is trashed maybe less, does any one know what these are bringing in your areas? I have a hotline book that shows a good value in them yet thanks for any help cnt |

| They are good balers, most have had a bazillion bales run through them. They were a very high capacity machine. It has to be FULL in order to make a good quality bale.Rake 2 or 3 windrows together if necessary.JD no longer makes "big chamber" machine.Other than that, they seem to bee good.Steve |
