I’m trying to identify this plow. My grandfather said it came with the ’53 Farmall C tractor when he bought it in the early 60s, but he has never used it. It may not be usable now, but I would like to know more about it and see if I can bring it back to life.

Any ideas and/or pictures would be of great help.

I also posted this in the Farmall Forum location below.

the Matt, "2 Bottom Disk Plow" at least that is what most old farmers would call it here in Central Texas. Moldboards were seldom seen or used down here, BUT,... 2, 3, 4, Bottom Disk plows were very common here, though most were trailer pull types not integral mounted or 3 pt. Hope this helps!
Later,
John A.

Well that helps a lot! I can figure out how it mounts now. Looks like I have some work to do to get it looking like the picture.

Anyone have a good manual contact that I could see. The guys over in the farmall. Forum say this is a c-151 plow

Can"t help you with a model number, but I"m going to step off here in a big hole with a comment that "might" help you on mounting it.

It looks kinda/sorta like the HM150 disc plows that go behind the H"s and M"s. They had/have a steering rod that attached to front steering. If you could find one of those set ups, you might have a better idea of how this plow mounts on the C.

Just My Humble Opinion ... as I"ve never seen that plow on a C or SC before.

Good Luck and let us know how you make out.

Rick
