The spreader that JD Gimpl intends to put a wood floor in can from the factory with a thinner metal floor so I think wood floor supports would need to be lower than the metal floor supports, |

| Angle the leading edges of the boards. I replaced boards on a spreader and just cut the most severe angle the skill saw would cut to keep the apron bars from binding. The boards can be square at the rear. |

If you don't get the wood low enough the drag chain will catch on the wood floor at the frt of spreader. |
