| | Chris, I was hoping to post with good news, but the TR333 head I found got scrapped. Where are you located? I've been hearing that NW Wi. was a big Gehl hotspot for sales. It would be worth a shot to post a want ad in the classifieds on this site & post an ad in the Farmer's Trading Post section of the Wisconsin State Farmer newspaper. That'll cover the nooks & crannies around the state that don't have the internet/don't know about this site. Best of luck! Most of those heads were used well past what the designers had intended, so inspect carefully. Mike P.S. I'm in desparate search of the mower bar head used in green chopping for hay dehydration & a regular pickup head for my SP Chop King gasser. If you come across either of these, please let me know. |

| | Oliver made their own choppers. They were designed like the Fox choppers of the day & even shared the same heads. They painted them up for MM & Cockshutt but I don't know how many they sold. They were lucky if production surpassed 1,000 units total in the couple years they made them. Not sure which side of the Canadian border they were made. If you do run across a 3RN head, make sure the chopper you're using it on has the double roller chain setup to the gearbox on the chopper unit, if you plan on using it. I have a kit number for the upgrade package if & when you get that far. There's also a package to double the number of slats on the feed roller, if they're not already there. Again, they're only neccessary if you intend on chopping with the 3RN head. If you can, post pictures of the chopper. Always glad to see another machine. There aren't a lot of photos on the 'net of the Gehl Chop Kings, either. Plenty of mine & little else. Mike P.S. The MA188 is the model of the mower bar head & HA188 is the pickup head. I appreciate you keeping your eyes peeled. |

| Someone posted numbers for the oliver SP choppers awhile back. I think mayby it was B A Star? 94 green ones, 2 yellow ones and 1 red. Pull type was the same chopper unit on a trailer frame. Have never seen production numbers for them. |
