I am in the process of converting a 3 bottom plow to a 2 bottom. I think its an 810, its certainly one of the 800 series. I have not yet pulled the bottoms apart to search for parts numbers, however I was pressure washing it today and brought up a number on the top of the moldboard. Now I was pretty sure just by eyeball its a 16 inch HS bottom. Its in faded paint near the JD logo. The number is HS 324NC on both moldboards,[not a typing error 324]. I was hoping someone with the books could identify it.

Pete, About 15 years ago I converted a 4-Bottom 14" 810 plow to 3-bottoms. My 70 couldn't pull 4 bottoms in my soil. Conversion was real easy as you just remove the last bottom and bolt the tail wheel back on the last bottom. All wearing parts like shares & landslides are available from your JD dealer. Send me an email if you have any questions. Al

HS324NC is a high speed narrow cut 14" bottom. It's the model of the bottom not the plow frame.

Thanks good info to know, I would have guessed it was a 16 inch. I didn't know they gave numbers for the complete bottoms, never ran across that before.
