Hello Everyone I finally got the rusted floor out of my new old spreader. It was rusted out so bad I could not get accurate measurements. Does anyone know the length and width. Also I was going to use 16 sheet metal, does that sound correct. Also any other tips or tricks about this spreader would be greatly appreciated. Thanks kindly, Gimpl |

| It measures 43x91.5. That is what the original manual shows |

| It will cost more but if I were going to all that work I would use stainless steel 1/16 would be fine. If using steel I would go heavier. If you use steel I would wash it out good after using and let it dry good then paint it with a rust inhibitor or linseed oil. IMO |

| When my Brother did his, he fliped it upside down and blocked it to weld. I don't remember the size but I want to say - It is a little narrower in the front. He bent the ends down to 90 degrees to make it more ridgid. |
