Hey Folks,
Anyone know if these were sold in the States and if someone still handles parts for them?? Tried googling but didn't find anything.. Looking for the glide plates (discs?)...Available here but figure if someone handles them over there, they'll be significantly cheaper...

Thanks, Dave

Neighbor has one. It have run it a couple of times and does a good job if it is not angled to high. Perfect Equipment in Elko Georgia sold and serviced them.

Have a PZ drum mower and PZ tedder rake. Parts are available but are made from solid gold. Two gears for the tedder rake were 750 dollars a few years ago. Joe

My advice would be for you to give the HayDr a shout, on the implement forum, he knows drum mowers. He used to trade under the name of Carter and Carter, in TN, but I know the business has changed, and he has a different company name, now

That's what I needed to hear (didn't want to, but needed to)..... Sometimes, even tho stuff is from over here, it's cheaper to buy in the States and have it mailed.

Thanks,

Dave

This is one of those times where it's probably cheaper to just buy it 'there' if you can get it easily.
I'm not rightfully sure who the distributor is for PZ stuff over here anymmore but I know most dealer trade in their parts; at least in this area. A phone call to just about any dealer would probably get you what you need or at least direct you to a rep. The way they were set up here, IIRC, they just had a regional distributor who pawned stuff off to any dealer that would take it...

They are everywhere on the net... ebay being the cheapest... Just that a stihl chainsaw made over here and sold in the States costs less than half the price of the same saw sold here, same with plenty of other stuff... Thought it might be the same in this case...
I don't need one myself, thought I might help out someone else... Not this time tho....

We have the disc in stock for your PZ Drum mower. There are 2 styles a 3 bolt saucer and a 4 bolt saucer. We have the 3 bolt style and they sell for $125 each. The 4 bold can be purchased from Kuhn. Their price is 3 times as expensive.
