Kewanee Grain Auger

I just bought a 8x56 Kewanee grain auger. From what I can tell they were owned by Allied Products for a while as part of their agricultural division along with Bush Hog, New Idea, and White Farm Tractors. But they just seemed to have disappeared. Is there a way to get parts for their augers or any of their other equipment that they produced? If so, where would that be? I am really just interested in possibly getting some of the missing saftey shields.

thanks for the help!

My local dealer claimed Bush Hog bought out Kewanee, thats just what he told me, true or not, I don't know. I had a kewanee 1100 disc for several years and always got parts from my local dealer because they had a Bush Hog dealership. I never had any trouble getting disc parts but that was a couple years ago when I sold it.

I too understood they were brought out by Brush Hog. Thats were I would start. Maybe somebody like your local heating and cooling shop or somebody good with sheet metal can make them for you. I just had some spindles made up at a machine shop for a wagon gear that I could no longer get parts for. They were pretty reasonable on the price too. Just a thought.

You are pretty much on your own. Bush Hog still carried some Kewanee parts until they were bought out by Alamo a couple years ago. Now you are down to donor machines and makin' your own.
