Gravity Wagon Beds

Do ~200 bu. gravity wagon beds have any value anymore? I've got this J&M with no running gear and I think it's still too nice to scrap but that seems to be the only demand for it. I've put it on craigslist and just put it on here and I've gotten no interest. I was just curious to see if anybody was still using these in the days of large farms. I know seed tenders is a common use, but even then those guys are using 350 bu 2-section divided wagons.

If no takers as a gravity box- they make nice dump pits. That"s one of my current projects- cut 20 inches out of the middle to narrow the "V", so the door needs to open more, letting the trash through. Will be buried with a steel drive-over grate, and a jump auger feeding the wetbin auger.

There is a demand, got to be I just saw 2 saturday that size on light gears that needed lots of patches bring $800 and $900 each. If its good advertise it and wait for a buyer. Bandit

Timimg is everything - about August people start thinking about buying grain boxes. Not this time of year.

A 200 bu size is either too big or to small. The 125 to 165 bu size(300 Kill Bros) still bring good money here, at least last spring they did, didn't make it to the sale this spring. You get a 200 bu bed and it is too tall for most older machines.
