Seized Wagon Spindles

Ive got an old Case running gear that has both front spindles stuck TIGHT. Hooked a come-along to the tie rod hole and to a JD A and the wagon frame to a truck and started sliding the front of the A sideways...

Both spindle pipes have been welded/replaced at some point and the gear itself is pretty rough, but if I could get these spindles to break loose I would still like to use it. I've heated it and boiled the grease and PB Blaster runs through the spindles, but they still aren't budging. Any suggestions? It getting scrapped soon otherwise.

Thanks

Neighbour used a grinder and slit them the length, freed them up, then welded the slit up, and welded a strap over that weld.

I've done it the same way, except I used a cutting torch.. Have never been able to get one hot enough to free it just by heating. Your working with junk anyway, so if you mess it up, it still weighs just as much for the scrap man.

Had to fight that on one side of an old Oliver (electric ) gear a number of years ago. Being a machinist I grabbed a chunk of tube off the drop rack at work that was exactly what I needed, put in the grease zerk hole and cut the old one out, put in the new.

Slitting it works too.

Like Don said... get new tube. Slit the old ones off with the gas axe.
Weld the new tube in.

Dads old wagon did the same thing, I have a large rosebud tip for my torch, got them both cherry red. worked them back and forth. greased the heck out of them when they cooled down

Yep,I've split'em with a torch too.Got'em loose then welded them back together. Wrapped strap iron around them in about 3 places to strengthen'em.

Splitting with torch worked and I dropped both of them out. I'll clean them up and weld & strap the tubes when time permits. I'll try to get some pics too for the future too.

Thanks
