Sure not claiming this was my idea, read about it on a forum somewhere. Decided I had more time than money, actually made a pretty good hourly rate fabbing this up as opposed to buying a pre-made one.
Leave the top pins in your attachment, go in and pick it up with your loader, put your bottom pins in and ready to go.
Used a hole saw and drill press for the holes. You can slow a drill press down enough that you don't burn up the hole saw, use plenty of cutting oil, got 26 holes through 1/2" steel with 1 hole saw.
Portaband saw for the cuts, and an old Sears buzz box welder.
No fair laughing at my welds, they're ugly, but have held for 6 years.
Used the measurements from my bucket to make the brackets, then adapted the hay spear to fit the brackets.
