I need a plunger for a 310 New Holland Baler. Does anyone know if any other models will fit or know of any 310 parts balers in Central Wisconsin
Thanks, DJ

You can go to newholland.com; parts; search term balers & find parts lists. Then you can compare part numbers for various models.

Online version of New Holland catalogs don't have a "where used" capability. Go online and get the part number for the 310 plunger and then call your New Holland dealer and have him use the "where used" in his dealer version. Used to be called P.A.L., but may not be anymore, gone from dealership for 6 years now.

There is more than one plunger for a 310. I had to change mine. Bought a parts baler with good plunger and it wouldn't go in the good baler. There is a difference in the spacing of the dogs underneath and one baler had a slight projection into the bottom of the bale chamber along the edges of the openings for the needles. Kind of hard to describe, but with abit of cutting torch work I made it fit and it works just fine. Think we are running one bottom dog short. I imagine there is a serial number break, but I don't know what it is.Run an ad in your local paper or check the back rows of any machinery jockey. Never know what you can find.
