Barn Clearance Help.

Hello

Im clearing out my fathers barn and have some trouble identifying some equipmment, and ultimately what i should sell them for. So wondered if anyone could help.

Bear in mind im in the UK, so not sure if the value would be the same? I dont know...

Not not sure which model, or price i should sell at. Its in "working" order, as in it was working when it was put into storage.

This Hay rake im not sure on the make or price, i know some of the tynes will need unbending but was working fine when stored also.

Not sure on the make, but was working when stored, 250 litre or 50 gallons.

Unsure of the make, but 1/2 ton working fertiliser.

3 furrow Massey Fergusson plough. The third blade isnt attached but still have it and its fine.

Also have a 2 furrow plough, with also a 4 tyne front 3 tyne back Cultivator i think both made especialy for the TE20, they have surface rust too but were working.

Thank you and any help is very much appreciated.

The third picture down, with the red hitch is call a "weeder" They where used before rotary hoe came out. You ran it through young crops to remove small weeds. It is not woth much $50-$75 just a little more than scrap price.

The 5th, 6th, and 7th Picture is of a three point fertilizer spreader. If you can get it to turn then it should bring several hundred dollars.

The plow has an odd coulter jointer setup. I have not seen one like it, but then I have not seen many MF plows. The jointers do make it an older plow. Where not sold much after the early sixties. I would put the value of the plow $150-$250. They are worth a little more now that guys are wanting an implement to match their tractors in age and use. Five years ago they would go for cheap scrap price.

I disagree with the weeder value. Find an organic farmer and you might be surprised what that will bring. Unlike a rotary hoe, they work in small grains, and I know in England they are used to drag pastures. Guy down the road from me bought a new Kovar weeder this year for $5000 . . . .

Waow really?

Some of the tynes need untwisted but if your sure ill start a listing for it at around £1.000?

I think the 2 furrow TE20 plough and cultivator are quite unique too. Any ideas on price? Just surface rust and have been in dry storage. Still to dig them out for pics.

If anyone knows how much for the dickie or weed sprayer too that would be great, thanks.

I think 300 pounds is closer for one that old. The new ones cost so much because they are larger and have hydraulics to do the lifting and folding, so they are more complicated. Although they do the same job, a new tine weeder and an old tine weeder are not exactly apples to apples compared.
