Algoma chopper

Yes. I remember seeing a picture in an ad for them. It was a pull behind, pto powered one row corn chopper. They probably had pick up head versions for chopping hay or straw. They were made in Algoma, WI. Probably a foundry product. I never saw one. I don't know if they were sold through dealers or factory direct. They certainly didn't catch on around us becsause I never saw or heard of one in use. They would be a rare find but possibly of no more value than scrap although I could be wrong.

Somebody on this site had, a few years ago, a picture of a rusty hulk in their pasture that was an Algoma chopper . . . maybe a search of implement photos would find it.
