ford 601 mounted corn picker for sale

Have a well kept 601 picker for sale. Last used in 1993 by wife's grandfather. Been shed kept with about 80% of the red paint still on it. I think it is from the late 1950's or very early 60's since he owned a 1956 model 640 and 1960 model 4000 tractors that he used it with. Feel free to contact me through email if interested. Must get out of shed and dont want to sell as scrap iron. Too much history in it that needs to live on! [email protected]
 
If anybody needs them, I still have the axle brackets to put one of these pickers on NAA-600 tractors.
 
I bought one of those 601 Ford pickers in 1966 and had it mounted on my ACD17.It was a good deal as the Dealer had it for several years in storage and he priced it to me right. I was lerry of it working right on the D17 but it fooled me. It was probably the best Corn Picker I ever had.I used it until I quit farming in 1971.
 
did you possibly have a blue one at one time as my grandfather bought a blue 601 in the early 90's in that same area. we went down to look at ared one and came home with a blue one.
