FNH 492 mower conditioner

Is it much of a job to adjust the shoes on the mower. And when you do does it adjust the two end pieces or the whole piece from shoe to shoe. Never ran a mower conditioner.

Shoe on each end, have a pin through them, about 4 or 5 holes, set each shoe in the same hole.

One shoe is on each end. There is a pin on the top back side of each shoe on one end of this pin (on mine at least) is a cotter pin, on the other is a hair pin. Pull the hairpin, pull the pin, adjust the shoe to desired position and repeat on the other side.
