Can anyone tell me anything good or bad about a John Deere model L series 51 manure spreader? Are parts generally available? I'm looking at one, but I am concerned that I may not be able to find parts if it breaks down.

Apron chain links (#67) available at TSC or any tractor dealer, apron bars can be made from 1" angle iron and attached with 1/4" X 3/4" bolts, 20" tires available from any county school bus garage for free (cleated tires are not a necessity). Check the frame, mine collapsed in the middle, frame rails just rusted into.
