We bought a 1950’s Brillion Sure Stand Seeder (cultipacker) to “pack” in all our Cheyenne grass seed for the hay crop. Since the seed was so small, we were unable to use it as a “seeder”.
I was lucky enough to buy a Brillion Sure Stand Seeder operator’s/parts manual on eBay. I called Brillion Iron Works Farm Equipment Sales Dept. Phone: 800-409-9749 ext 665 and got information on a local wholesaler in Waco, TX. Contacted the wholesaler and gave the serial number; they said their records did not go back that far. They were able to cross-list “ancient” part numbers with “current” part numbers and sent me a current parts list. Since the wholesaler could not “sell” directly to me, the parts were sold through my local New Holland dealer. I was able to get all the parts (bearings, felt, end caps, arm) that were needed. Hope this helps.
