(quoted from post at 07:25:43 09/13/23) It's a sharp looking little unit. Were they good at their job?

''little unit''

In their day they were a BIG combine, probably as big as any on the market at the time.

I spent MANY hours of my youth driving a ''92'' or a ''Super 92''.

LOVED the purr of the Chrysler Industrial flatheads!

Pretty sure they were the biggest combine in the early 60s in the masseys. Yes they did a very good job cleaning the grain. Just that u had to sit in front of that header and got hit with all the dust more so depending on which way the wind was blowing. I just hated that. Some also had homemade cabs. The 265 Chrysler sure ran nice. Even the Minnie 4292 and Cockshutt 542 used them. They were the same combine , diff color.

Is this one yours? I spent some memorable summers riding above the gas tank. They would let 2 of us kids ride a couple of rounds. If i recall aren't you around Beverly ? My Grandpas farm was between Westfall and Lincoln.
