I currently have a Gleaner F2 combine that is a hydro drive with a 438 corn head and a 13 bean and wheat header
The gleaner is not in the best of shape but does a good job for our smaller farming needs
I ran across a John Deere 4420 diesel combine today that I have the opportunity to buy but I have never owned or operated a John Deere before
My questions are will the 4420 be close in comparison to the F2
Is it as easy to work on, will it clean the grain as good as the gleaner, is setup for different crops as easy
The JD comes with a 213 grain header but I will need to find a 4 row 38" corn header for it
What models headers fit and are they hard to find
The John Deere looks to be in quite a lot better shape than my current gleaner
Any advice is appreciated
