Grain Platform on John Deere 45 won't turn

I've got a 1967 John Deere 45 combine with a grain head on it that will not turn. I've looked online and can't find any drawings or anything to see where everything is in the way of bearings. Does any one have pictures of a 45? Where are the bearings? What is the best way to get the auger in the head moving again?

several bearings several reasons it wont turn. we need details, key
sheared ,slip clutch loose,belt slipping,broken shaft,seperator not
engaging, and more. tell us what you tried and when it quit. get it
plugged then it never turned? bearing siezed up?

Again, I am posting this because I know nothing about this combine and grain head that we're getting ready to use for the first time. This is why I'm asking for diagrams of the parts that operate the auger. I don't really know which of these that you listed are the problem or if any of them are. I do know that the head turned a few months back when we were starting it and I turned the head on when I was trying to figure out how it works to lift the head. For all I know it could be a key, a bearing, slip clutch or none of those. However, if I had to guess, I would say it's a bearing. The only reason that I asked if anyone had any tips was because I thought maybe there was a "weak point" that is a common problem that we should look at first.

If the fingers in the auger run in a steel ball sleeve they can rust tight if it has not been used for a long time. Had the problem
on a used pull type machine I bought a couple years ago....

Is it just the auger without anythin else hooked up? When mine locked up it was a bent bar on the radel chain. I had a 62, 63, 65 and a 69 45. 2 of them had 12' heads when I got them and I changed to 10' heads as the 12 was too much for that combine The others already had 10' heads

would remove the belts or chains that drive the augar, reel and knive drive and see what isn't moving and go from there. good luck
