We've had a CIH 2344 for a good while now. When we bought it, it had 1100 engine hrs and less than 900 separator hrs on the clock. Currently it has approximately 3400 engine hrs. At some point in time since it was purchased, we have had to rebuild the shoe and sieve shaker assy and drive train for it, including all bearings and bushings. Currently everything is tight and like it should be. My memory is foggy on the current hrs since the last overhaul but it's been awhile. The question is typically how long is everyone going on a rebuild for these combines before it would be wise to do it again as preventative maintenance ? The last time it spit out the top sieve and broke the holder tray for it and the shoe, which all had to be replaced also. Looking to prevent this if possible in the middle of a harvest.
