JD 6620 Transmission

I am trying to change the transmission fluid on a JD 6620 hydrostatic drive combine. The manual has a picture, and describes loosening a line that goes into the drain plug (blue arrow), pushing the line up and then pulling out the drain plug (red arrow) and screen.

I have pulled the line out of the drain plug, but am unable to pull out the drain plug. I can twist it, but can't Pull it out. Thought I better check with folks that know before trying to force anything.

Also, can't find a parts diagram for the screen and plug on the JD parts site??

Thanks!
Rich

Wore Out-

Thanks for the quick reply and the information I needed!! I will tackle it again with your suggestions. Also...thanks for the link to the parts diagram. Exactly what I was looking for. I had looked at that diagram before asking, but did not recognize the parts.

Thanks Again:)

AHA!

GOOD JOB!

Quite a tricky arrangement for a drain plug and access to the screen, isn't it!

Wore Out-
I have a couple of old peanut combines that I understand and can keep going. This machine is new to me. As I told a friend...it seems just a bit more complicated than the Space Shuttle:)
