I recently purchased this combine and both shifter cables are seized. By any chance does anybody know of a source for replacement cables in Canada? Jeff

Thanks, I did call the local driveline shop, they said no one in town made cables. He did have some on the shelf but none near matching.

I have Crysteel manufacturing right near me. They are a truck body builder. I just think they could help you out.

Thanks, but they are in MN. If I get them from the states I will get them from Bunker Hill Cables in Ohio. They're closer to me here in Ontario. Exchange rate, duty, brokerage...=hurt.

How seized? If you can get them off so you can get them in a
Vice Ive had luck with soaking them with penetrating oil and
heating them with a heat gun to draw the oil in. Then you can
clamp one end of the casing in a Vice and work the cable back
and fourth with a pair of Vice grips until it moves freely. I did that
to the parking brake cable and both shift cables on my 8700
when I got it and managed to bring all 3 back to life.
