925 flex head

I have been wanting to put plastic snouts on, to replace the steel ones. Can it be done and if so what is needed to do it. Do they mount to the inside of the head or outside? Lot of questions. Steel ones are getting worn out.I've put new steel on along the bottom and added new pieces to the skid on the tips too. and worn that out now. Might be better to just find a different head too. Asking before the last minute.

I'm not familiar with your model flexhead, but on the heads I'm use to are adjusted so the snout tip are about 6 inches off the ground. So I wondering why are they getting wore out?

Ive run my 922 head with plastic snouts since new and hated them. Last year I finally made old style metal ones. The plastic ones are huge cobs that run over beans like crazy. You have to go with the rows and then it wont feed right. I cussed those year after year. Dont switch.
