What motor did the No.93 IHC Combine have on it,must of been a H motor?

My dad had a 93 combine. I believe it was a C motor, either the 113 or 123 motor. It definitely was not the H motor. It's been at least 35 years since I last ran it. Al

I think I read somewhere it was a C-135 engine same as the 340 tractor

I believe you are correct in that it was a 135 engine. The guy who bought the combine from me wanted the engine to put in his Super C tractor. Al

I am almost certain it used the C153 engine from the 444 tractor and not a C135.

A neighbor wanted to put an IH combine engine in a BN and found out the crank wasn't drilled for the pilot bearing.

I believe the guy doing the engine was aware of that. He owned a machine shop and was completely rebuilding these engines and then selling them for use in a C or Super C. At the time he bought the engine from my 93, he also got another engine from a 91 combine near me. He then had both engines shipped from Wisconsin to South Carolina. He told me he had done many of these so apparently he was aware of the pilot bearing problem. By the way, last night I dug out the operator's manual from my 93 and I could not find anything in the specification page as to the size of the engine. All I know it was either a 113, 123, or 135. The 93 Combine used either the C-153 gasoline engine or the BD-154 diesel engine
