On a 6620 JD. Said beans are not feeding in on right side. Building op to bunch on stainless transition plate. I lowered the real and moved it back. Told him to run the platform lower so the transition plate is flatter, 6620 has 3 settings on the auto height control. He had been running on 2 so now lowered it to 1. That took care that problem. But then it started pushing dirt. On my CaseIH 1020 head, real easy to tighten the leaf springs on the shoes. I have mine set so I can lift the cutter bar with my little finger. His are so heavy. On some of them I bet it takes 40 lbs. to lift his bar. He had about 10 lbs. of dirt on top the skid plates. I dug that out. That helped a little. But how do you adjust the springs?

If it's only on one side, check that the spring that helps the the divider float up and down isn't broken. Been there...

I think it is sort of normal for beans to hang on the right side of the header. I remember that from my days with my 920. The 925 I have now doesnt have that problem. I still try to run the reel as low and far back as possible. If the reel carries too much crop over you have to be higher. Also be mindful of reel speed. Too fast beats the crop and too slow wont feed in properly. Reel should run slightly faster than ground speed.
