Like to try combining crimson clover for seed , how much of the stem do I need ? The heads are leaning over down a ways. So if I put the reel down will it wind up on it with a lower head ?
Or would it be better to mow and rake it and get it in windrows?
Never done it so I dont know what to ask. Only experience I have is with bird foot trefoil 45 years ago ..
I have a Allis Chalmers 72 with scour cleaner pulled by ih 560
I have the book on combine so I can do set up for cylinders speeds but header and reel for low seed is a judgment call Im not familiar with ? Thank you
