3300 JD And Corn Head At Consignment Sale

This decent 3300 JD gas combine sold for $500 on Friday at a consignment sale near Ft Scott,KS..The barely used 3 row corn head for the 3300 sold for $250..Years ago there were (3) 3300 JD's in my community..One is still sitting unused for many years in a shed.

I would have bought the head just for a spare at that price! I had to give twice that for mine a few years ago and I went through and replaced every chain and several sprockets.

In my area that head can bring $2500 as they are in demand for mounting on pull type forage harvester to make earlage. Have seen them mounted on Deere and also NH choppers. Tom

I have one sitting in a clasping shed, 244 corn, I guess it's going to wind up scrap someday
