Scour Kleen help please

I've just acquired a John Deere pull type model 42 pto combine. It has a scour kleen. The seller didn't mention this. (I bought this combine over the internet.) I assume it somehow is meant to "extra" clean the grain.
1) Is cleaner grain the purpose?
2) How does it work?
3) Where can I get a manual for this scour kleen?
4) Anything special I need to know about setting up or using this part?
Thanks for any help.
P.S. I also posted this under implements. kelly

There are manuals on Ebay. Just search scourkleen. Good luck with your 42. I always wanted a square back model. Post some pics of yours if you can. Tom

We had one on the 30 combine we had years ago.

It was an effort to try and separate the smaller weed seeds out of the crop. The 30 had it above the bin and for the most part it worked.
It was an auger inside a fine screen.

Dad cut his first load of beans with an early 55 round back, and the elevator docked him 50% for dirt in the load.(manual header no float) He put a SC on it, and it worked fine,it was on there the day it was cut up for scrap.

i posted these pics up in implement alley.
