All great pictures. Thanks for posting. I think I remember that you are in eastern South Dakota? What process are you using to get the old photos onto the computer?

This group of pictures I just took a picture of with my camera and loaded them. Some of the other ones that are better quality I scanned on the printer and loaded to the computer. I have a bunch more to scan, it just takes time. Taking a picture is faster, but it doesnt seem to be very good quality.

Thank You for Sharing all these,, on the 1030 is that tank for baling or was it being used for the grain? Thanks again Love all of them

Very nice pics. The Deere 96 and 106 always impressed me but I have never seen a real one. I have the original Deere sales brochures for them. I have a 95 and 105 here on the farm. Tom

Great picture, those 95's would just go and go, high capacity machine for its day. Many of them in the neghborhood up until twenty years ago. My Uncle had a 106 for years, it was used up, hauled off for scrap and got more than he paid for all those years ago. Sad to see it go, but what do you do.

Tank was used to put a pre emerge herbicide down when we planted corn, usually we took the tank off after planting because it inter fered with the front lights, that year though was wet and we sprayed the corn late in the season instead of cultivating with a small boom mounted on the 3 point. We just hadnt taken the time to pull off the tank when harvest started. The case 1010 in the background was my Uncles, I wish I would have taken some pictures of it. Good machine, but it did give him some grief, but in its defense it was well used.
