I posted some pictures on the case forum and was told some people might be interested in pictures of the combines we use to use, so I will post some here if someone is interested in seeing them.

65 john deere pulled with LA, my maternal Grandpa bought new.

I don't know the story on this combine, but it was in my Grandmas album.

My Grandpas 3 grain trucks, New 1950 international, converted chevy school bus my Mom rode on before being turned into a grain truck and the famous "suicide" truck.

I don't remember what kind of truck it was, in the 70's they added a cab to it, but no doors or front clip. They used it up until the 80s around the farm and then made a trailer out of it. I think my cousin still has it. If I rememeber right, they bought it from a neighbor and it had small run down box on it and they built the large grain box it has on in the picture. It was a scream to drive, very little or no brakes and worn out steering box, seat that was barely attached, hence the name suicide truck.

That cables truck would be fun to put a load on and drive into the elevator once. Think the fellas would be so awestruck they would forget to weigh it. I know you say it doesn’t exist any more, as a truck.

Nice pics.
