Has anyone ever changed the cleaning fan in a 9500 ? I have a blade broke on mine(critter was in when I fired it up). I can not seem to get my beans clean and i suppose the fan is the issue.

Well if there's a blade gone I would think balance would be an issue.....check where the fan elements clamp to the shaft, I have had them spin and keep the fan from running at proper speed

I?ve had trouble with the adjusting motor binding up and not turning right and also play in the adjuster arm bearing at the sheaves will keep her from cinching down enough to get the fan blowing. I?d imagine there a horrible vibration with part of a paddle missing. I would think that wheel under the cab needs to come off and then the screen cover and she should be right there. My 9500 has been on this farm since it had 400 hours and I have never had the fan out, knock on wood.

You just replace whichever fan is broken. Usually an outside fan...take the bearing plate off that side and remove the fan housing cover...un-clamp the fan blade and slide it off the shaft. Reassemble with new fan and probably a new bearing and lock.

If it's an inside fan that's broken..then tear down that side and remove the fans that are outside the busted one...reassemble.
