Simple question - I think - Trying to figure out year of Combine and correct Serial Number so I can order correct manuals. Inside the cab - sitting in the seat - top left- is serial id.
It says: Allis-Chalmers La Porte Plant Serial Number: 575691-870
I've been looking around and it doesn't seem to match up with others' question on this - perhaps I have the wrong spot for serial number lookup. Than manuals seem to have a serial number range for which they are applicable, i.e. Service Manual SN8201-24200
Any advice appreciated as to year and/or location of where serial number should be.
