Here's a nice CASE thresher that I saw recently. Sad to say it is sitting outside.

Can someone tell via serial number what year this was new?

First and fourth digit minus 3 on the six digit numbers...37. Have 8 Case threshers, two I've rebuilt, but haven't seen one that size. Use to put on a threshing show and the small Case was a 22-36...

Since using various models at the show for years, I can say the Case machines
had fewer belts than most and this is a plus. Good machines, period.

Interesting. The last 2 digits are 37, same as the 40-3 rule. Probably a coincidence?
