Corn head what ones will fit and what are they bringing in your area ? I?m pretty sure I?ll have to ship one from the Midwest or so to get one .

I believe a 7700 may allow something as small as a 443 and up to a 843 corn head. I liked ours with a 643 head. It was a nice match I. Our conditions with up to 180 BPA corn when we had it on the farm. We also had a grain tank extension made by Hiniker. The older 643 heads are relatively inexpensive and most likely that you find may need some attention. I seem to recall seeing these in southern Minnesota and northern Iowa going for 2 to 4 grand. The ones will the enclosed chain case on the ends are going to cost more. Running a 1975 643 head on our late 9500 combine. The head has been rebuilt a few times and altered to fit the machine due to the feederhouse reverse gear case on the bottom of the feederhouse.

40 series would bolt right on. 444 would be 4 row wide and 643 would be 6 row narrow. The newer 90 series headers will fit right on too but they will cost a lot more than the older 40 series headers.

Looking for wide or narrow row? Have a 444, 4 row wide here that hasn't been used for 25 years. Put new gathering chains on it the last year used. But I'm in E SD...long haul from you.
