Does anyone know anything about what happened after this iconic dealership closed? My dad traded a "barn series" 1700 Steiger for a 760 combine the spring of 74. Im trying to track this tractor down, as someome is trying to account for all the 1700s built. I know this is going to be like finding a needle in a haystack but I have to try. There couldnt have been very many 1700 Steigers that were traded through Humphreys. Any chance anyone from the area would know what happened to the records after they closed? I remember checking out all the new masseys on this lot in the late 70s, even though dad usually traded with Steve at the John Deere dealership in Kiowa. Dad cut around Kiowa for about 10 years before he changed routes. Any help would be appreciated.
