A bit odd to have a Super 92 that is Massey Harris and not Massey Ferguson. Must have been made for a short time.

You forgot the third option, "<MHF>", Massey Harris Ferguson.

Dunno all the nuances of the name changes/mergers, but it must have been a good time for the folks that supplied decals to them!

And some Super 92s had yellow decals instead of the silver ones. That model must be a mid to late run.

I knew a guy that had a MH super 92. Used it till he died in 96. Sold it for $125.

Why does it have a platform ladder extension? Was it a rice combine with the special rear axle and the 23.1-26 tires? I think that would look good but I have never seen one;

I'm not sure on the ladder extensions. It has a rather large head on the machine for our area. It's nice addition, it's much easier getting up the ladder. Drive tires are 18-26 left hand and 15-26 on the right hand side. Not sure why on that either. All on my of other Super 92 are Massey Ferguson combines. I attached the name plate. Looks to be a real early serial number.
I'm guessing mid 50' to late 50's on the year.

We had a pretty good Massey guy in out neighborhood, he threshed with a Massey Super 92,also, he had his name stenciled on the machine, his wife sold it for not to much either, but had a untouched straight cut attachment for it, inside, with lots of spare parts including guards, which the new owner, Loren, put on it, used it in 2016. I cant remember if it a Massey Ferguson or a Massey Harris, but it's got the 265 Chrysler, purr's like a kitten yet.
