Are you familiar with the 2004 commemorative trip Len Holo did with a Massey Harris 21A combine where he traveled like the custom harvester crews did/still do? It was commemorating the Harvest Brigade of 1944. According to the story Len is from (or maybe was from) Langdon, ND.

There is a You Tube video about this and there are further facts on various internet places. History is SO interesting.

Studied the Harvest Brigade Tribute again and refreshed my memory by finding out that Mr. Holo now lives in Eau Clair, Wisconsin. He is originally from Loma, ND which is south of Langdon. Looking at a satellite view of Loma shows only a farm. Apparently, like many ND small towns, it has vanished as the farms continue to grow bigger.
 
Yes Ron, I have read about his journey, but its amazing not much is said about him here, but since you mentioned this I will ask some people here and see if I can find out more.
 
I will get back up to speed with him, and yes sadly these little towns like Loma, have been so effected
